Brewbaker Tech’s 6′0″ Marques Webb is making a strong case for grabbing top honors as the Class of 2013 top post prospect. Webb is currently averaging a double double 12ppg 12 rebs. Webb has already drawn the interest which includes a few offers from several DI schools in the ACC, Conference USA, SEC and Sun Belt conferences. Webb’s stock is rising fast. When asked how she is handling all the attention so early. Webb simply replied “I really don’t pay attention to it. I just try to stay focused and just play the game, I didn’t expect so much success this fast”. Webb is having an outstanding freshman campaign displaying her power low post game, superior rebounder, while showcasing the fundamentals of the lost art of boxing out, she has a nice mid post game while knocking down 12 footers, and a knack for blocking shots. Webb is also a decent ball handler and superb finisher around the basket. Webb has a tremendous upside and with her continued development she will reign supreme as one of Alabama 2013 top prospects.
