Who is the best post prospect in the Class of 2011? Bama PrepGirls has learned that Ramsay's and Alabama Signee Kaneisha Horn has been selected to play in the 2010 WBCA and the 2010 McDonald's All-American games.The games will be held in San Antonio during the 2010 Women's Final Four Weekend with the McDonald's All-American game coming up first March 31 in Columbus, OH. Horn becomes only the second player from Alabama to be selected to participate in both games. Former Auburn standout and 2010 WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year DeWanna Bonner is the other.

The race for 2012 top point guard spot will be a tightly contested battle. The list is getting longer by the minute. Shades Valley 5'8" Tiarra Pollnitz and Jeff Davis 5'8" Jada Williams both players do an excellent job of running their prospective offenses and they both have the "it" factor. The "it" I'm refering to is the knack and swagger for making the right play or putting your teammates in position to make the play. Both are natural leaders and are not afraid to take the big shot or make the tough pass. Jeff Davis 5'8" Jada Williams one of the states and regions top point guards, has a knack for taking defenders off the dribble with her deadly cross over and finishes strong around the basket, has a great mid range game with the pull up jumper over defenders this coupled with her her great length she creates havoc on defense with deflections and blocks. Shades Valley 5'8" Tiarra Pollnitz also considered one of the states and regions top point guards, is a smooth ball handler, good 3pt shooter, loves to attack and slash to the basket creating havoc for defenders, can shake defenders and finish with a deft pull up jumper, and she is an excellent precision passer, one of her greatest strengths. 6A Sparkman High School's  6′0″ Forward Jasmine Jones is making a strong case for positioning herself as the Class of 2012's top prospect in Alabama.  She is already ranked the #11 player in the nation by All Star Girls' Report (ASGR). Jones is currently averaging a double double (15ppg 12 rebs).  She has already received offers from several prominent Division I schools (SEC, Big East, etc) along with high interest from Major DI schools across the country, many of whom have watched her both practice and play during this high school season after seeing her player during her AAU season last Spring & Summer with the Southern Starz.  Jones has led her youthful (no Seniors) Sparkman Lady Senators to a record of 21-6 and a #4 state ranking in Class 6A.  Sparkman will be the #2 Seed to #2 ranked 6A-Bob Jones in the upcoming Area Tournament.  Jones is both relentless and graceful as she combines her power moves in the low post with her ability to take her defender off the dribble and knock down a deadly pull-up jump shot.  She is relentless on the boards, especially on the offensive end where she refuses to be blocked out.   Jones is the daughter of ...

BP just got the word from her travel team, Georgia Blazers, Coach Joe Foster that Selma's 5'8" Keisha Moore has verballed to continue her playing career at Sytia Messer's Tennessee Tech Lady Golden Eagles. Moore is currently averaging 19 ppg 5apg and 4 spg. Coach Foster believes that Moore will be provide a scoring punch to the Lady Golden Eagles and that she will do well in the Ohio Valley Conference. Coach Foster is looking forward to following and will continue to be supportive of Moore throughout her college career.

Bama PrepGirls 2010 #3 ranked guard Sunshine's 5'7" Shafontaye Myers has decided to Roll with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Myers will be a great addition to Coach Wendell Hudson's team, further stengthening the 2010 recruiting class headlined by Bama PrepGirls #1 wing Kaneisha Horn and #1 guard Khristian Lee.

  Brewbaker Tech's 6'0" Marques Webb is making a strong case for grabbing top honors as the Class of 2013 top post prospect. Webb is currently averaging a double double 12ppg 12 rebs. Webb has already drawn the interest which includes a few offers from several DI schools in the ACC, Conference USA, SEC and Sun Belt conferences. Webb's stock is rising fast. When asked how she is handling all the attention so early. Webb simply replied "I really don't pay attention to it. I just try to stay focused and just play the game, I didn't expect so much success this fast". Webb is having an outstanding freshman campaign displaying her power low post game, superior rebounder, while showcasing the fundamentals of the lost art of boxing out, she has a nice mid post game while knocking down 12 footers, and a knack for blocking shots. Webb is also a decent ball handler and superb finisher around the basket. Webb has a tremendous upside and with her continued development she will reign supreme as one of Alabama 2013 top prospects.
